Conversion Rates Increase 38.4% since Implementation

Thanx Media, a provider of e-commerce software solutions and data management, announced today that Andy’s Auto Sport, an industry leader in online auto parts and sales, has selected Thanx Media to improve online customer experience and performance related to the size of its database. Andy’s Auto Sport chose Thanx Media based on the company’s successful record of accomplishments working with other companies in the industry. Working closely with the Andy’s Auto Sport team, Thanx Media implemented Oracle Endeca, an industry-leading faceted search and guided navigation system.

Oracle Endeca offers an intuitive navigation that gives users full control over their shopping experience. This has allowed visitors to find products based on attributes such as year, make and model of their vehicles, without having to wade through thousands of products. Additionally, the solution makes it possible for the Andy’s Auto Sport merchandising team to feature high margin brands and products at a category level, creating a more relevant customer experience that has improved conversion rates by 38.4 percent since implementation.

“We had a very complex set of requirements,” said Eric Ferguson, president of Andy’s Auto Sport. “Not only where there thousands of individual products, but the number of attributes and combinations that can be derived creates an enormous data set. After Thanx Media collaborated with our team to understand and set the requirements, they recommended leveraging the capabilities of Oracle Endeca. The Endeca platform was the perfect solution for taking all of our data and crunching it quickly to serve our webpages fast.”

“The Oracle Endeca platform is used by many of the top 100 retailers across the country, so it was a natural fit for the requirements set forth by Eric Ferguson and his team. It has delivered exactly what the company was looking for—providing a site that is scalable and can handle consistent growth. We’re proud to have worked with Andy’s Auto Sport on this project,” said Paul Matker, CEO, Thanx Media.
