Thanx Media, a Chicago-based enterprise technology company, today announced it will sponsor the 25th Annual Rock and Roll Benefit Auction, an annual event hosted by Rock for Kids to raise funds to fulfill its mission to provide music education to under-served elementary school children Chicago Public Schools.

“My wife, Debbie, and I grew up in Chicago, a place where music is an integral part of the history and social fabric of the community,” said Paul Matker, Thanx Media CEO. “Some of the greatest musicians of all time hail from Chicago, yet the opportunity to continue that legacy is not always available to students. My wife is a product of the Chicago Public School system, so we feel a responsibility to help support its value.”

This year’s 25th Annual Rock and Roll Auction will feature nearly 200 one-of-a-kind celebrity autographed items. Also included are opportunities to bid on VIP experience packages like the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, JAM Sports Stadium Package complete with Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox tickets, Lollapalooza Insider Package and BoKa Restaurant Group Dining Package. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 9 at the Park West in Chicago. Tickets are still available for purchase.

“Without the time and financial commitment from companies like Thanx Media, the elementary students of the Chicago Public Schools would not be afforded the same musical opportunities as students in other major cities,” said Kyle Curry, Rock For Kids Associate Director.
The second year of sponsorship is part of Thanx Media’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community and supporting efforts to provide a quality education for children in need.
